Welcome to my first love - The walk with Women & Children Foundation where I am committed to ensuring that young African girls and women are able to access equal opportunities in societies that hinder, limit and deter them from doing so.
A few years ago, my mentor who also works in the same space said that she had since evolved from having passion fuel her work - as the flames can sometimes burn out - to a place where she was driven by purpose only.
At the time, I didn't really understand the difference - however, as I have continued on 'the walk' , the difference couldn't be more clear. Thus, although the walk has not been the easiest, I pledge to be driven by a sense of purpose and to remain committed to staying the course.

Founded in 2019, The Walk with Women & Children is dedicated to building a global sisterhood that advances the personal, social, health, educational, and economic rights of women and girls.
We believe in the power of the collective and in walking with women - not ahead of them or for them, but alongside them as we confront shared challenges. Our work is grounded in unity, partnership, and collaboration, supporting women and girls to achieve their full potential through choice - the freedom, ownership, and will to shape their own lives.
We collaborate with visionary, community-embedded organisations already empowering women and girls across communities. This channel exists to raise awareness, challenge harmful narratives, and amplify the voices, needs, and achievements of women and girls around the world.
